  • Responsibilities

    Position: Off-the-Road Tire Technician Location: Salt Lake City, UT, US Seeking a proficient Off-the-Road Tire Technician to join our Salt Lake City, UT team. Responsibilities include delivering tire maintenance and repair services for vehicles of various sizes, conducting fleet inspections, overseeing scrap tires, and handling other related duties as required. The main focus will be on OTR service operations in the designated region, utilizing a company service vehicle for tasks. Flexibility is key as emergency service roles may need to be fulfilled when necessary. Compensation and Benefits: • 10% commission on completed work • 401k plan with matching contributions • Health, dental, and vision insurance plans available Responsibilities: • Inspect, diagnose, and conduct maintenance and repairs on a variety of off-road tires, including OTR, passenger, light trucks, large trucks, tractors, and industrial vehicles. • Operate a company vehicle in compliance with speed limits and traffic regulations. • Take part in fleet inspections as part of regular procedures. • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, job duties, and company policies. • Drive a service truck to customer locations for essential tire repairs. • Assist in the loading and unloading of stock supplies and participate in physical inventory tasks. • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of tire pressure management systems (TPMS). Qualifications: • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. • Must be at least 21 years old. • Should have the ability to lift and move tires. • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. • Previous experience with off-the-road and heavy-duty/commercial tires is preferred but not required. • Applicants with OTR and heavy-duty/commercial tire experience will be given priority. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
