Responsibilities: • Clearly communicate automotive repair issues and repairs necessary to fix them to customers and mechanics • Systematically inspecting all vehicle systems like air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brakes • Determining maintenance needs based on manufacturer specifications to ensure customer satisfaction • Creating service protocols to track status of repairs, keep technical manuals up to date, and use charts for dealerships • Performing routine maintenance such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, and oil changesRevised Job Responsibilities: • Explain automotive repair problems and solutions to customers and mechanics in an understandable manner • Examine components of vehicle systems, including air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brakes with a methodical approach • Follow manufacturer instructions to maintain vehicle systems and guarantee customer satisfaction • Establish protocols for monitoring the progress of repairs, managing pertinent technical manuals, employing diagrams, and more for the dealership • Perform regular maintenance such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, and oil changes Qualifications: • MUST have 8-10 years of relevant professional experience • DVOM understanding and utilization • Ability to diagnose and repair electronic systems • A desire to participate in continuing education • Maintain a clean work area • Desire to provide our customers with a quality product • Ability to identify and repair problems quickly • Can communicate well verbally and written • Willing to recommend the appropriate maintenance needs • STRONG ETHICS • GED or high school diploma is mandatory • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associate degree is a bonus • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 yearly
