The Tire Technician position located in Salt Lake City, UT, US, involves providing tire maintenance and repair services, executing essential regular maintenance activities on vehicles of all sizes, conducting fleet inspections, dealing with scrap tires, and undertaking other related duties if necessary. Maximum attention will be devoted to OTR service operations and jobs in the assigned region. This role requires utilizing a company service vehicle to accomplish designated tasks. Additionally, the technician must be available to step into an emergency service role when required. Compensation and Benefits: • Receive 10% Commission on Accomplished Work • 401k Plan with Matching Contributions • Access to Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans Responsibilities: • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a variety of off-road tires including OTR, passenger, light trucks, large trucks, tractors, and industrial vehicles. • Comply with speed and traffic laws while operating a company vehicle. • Participate in fleet inspection processes. • Follow safety procedures, job functions, and company policies. • Have the capability to drive a service truck to a customer's location for necessary repairs. • Load and unload stock supplies and take part in physical inventory activities. • Comprehend tire pressure management systems (TPMS). Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Must be able to lift and/or move tires. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test. • Experience with off-the-road and heavy-duty/commercial tires is preferred, but not necessary. • Preference is given to applicants with experience in OTR and heavy-duty/commercial tires. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
