    Position: Off-the-Road Tire Technician Location: Salt Lake City, UT, US We are looking for a skilled Off-the-Road Tire Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Responsibilities involve providing tire maintenance and repair services for vehicles of various sizes, performing fleet inspections, managing scrap tires, and fulfilling other related tasks as needed. The primary focus will be on OTR service operations within the specified region, utilizing a company service vehicle for assignments. Flexibility is crucial as emergency service duties may arise when required. • Compensation and Benefits: • Earn a 10% commission on completed work • Access to a 401k plan with matching contributions • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage options available Responsibilities: • Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs on various off-road tires, such as OTR, passenger, light trucks, large trucks, tractors, and industrial vehicles. • Drive a company vehicle while adhering to speed limits and traffic regulations. • Participate in fleet inspections as part of routine procedures. • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, job duties, and company policies. • Utilize a service truck to travel to customer locations for necessary tire repairs. • Assist in loading and unloading stock supplies and engage in physical inventory tasks. • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tire pressure management systems (TPMS). Qualifications: • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. • Applicants must be at least 21 years old. • Ability to lift and move tires is essential for this role. • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is mandatory. • While prior experience with off-the-road and heavy-duty/commercial tires is preferred, it's not a strict requirement. • Candidates with OTR and heavy-duty/commercial tire experience will receive priority consideration. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
