    Job Description

     

    Reporting to a Property Manager, the successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and will provide support to the Property Manager and controller by managing the below items:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives to ensure all laws are maintained

    • Assisting in collecting rents, processing move-ins / move-outs in the system

    • Responsible for all lease administration duties

    • Completing annual and interim certifications of households.

    • Properly file all required documents and forms

    • Quickly and professionally address issues with tenants or the property ensuring there is constant communication with the tenants

    • Scheduling maintenance and work orders

    • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/KEY COMPENTENCES

    • Hands-on experience and demonstrated ability to successfully assist in day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, marketing and leasing activities, occupancy and annual tenant certifications.

    • Strong verbal, written and customer service communication skills are essential; computer proficiency (specifically in MS-Word, Excel, andOutlook) is a plus, as is familiarity with Appfolio software.

    • Ability to envision and create, in concert with manager, residents and staff, a harmonious, cohesive atmosphere.

    • Flexibility, positive attitude, team orientation and willingness to learn are a must!

    • Proper time management

    • Customer/client focused

    • Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants,

    • Bilingual in Spanish desired.

    ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. OTHER DUTIES
