    TPC Scottsdale is currently seeking an APPLICATION TECHNICIAN. This position will perform all tasks relative to the application of pesticides and fertilizers to the golf course grounds.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Maintaining logs for the operation, maintenance and gas usage of each piece of equipment
    • Perform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized and a safe working environment.
    • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations in regard to material use, storage, cleanup, disposal, spill containment, mixing and loading, application, and safety requirements. Follow all internal policies and procedures.
    • Clean applications equipment after each use.
    • Maintaining all inventory levels in the GCM inventory maintenance record system
    • Keeping all applications equipment properly calibrated and in good working condition
    • Perform all functions relative to the applications activities as directed by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I and II, or Application Foreman

     

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: 

    • Must have a valid Arizona pesticide license or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment
    • Prior experience handling chemicals, spray hawking and operating
    • Prior experience maintaining pesticide application records and being able to identify insects, diseases and pests is a plus
    • Mechanical abilities are also a plus

  • Qualifications
    • Contribute to the execution of the annual audit plan for all Titan America operations and/or lead some of the audit projects. In particular, for individual audit engagements.
    • Conduct interviews of business managers to gain understanding of their business processes and to identify inherent risks and mitigating controls.
    • Contribute to the development of audit programs to test business process controls.
    • Perform testing of internal controls and provide opinion on their effectiveness.
    • Contribute to the development of agreed action plans with local management
    • Develop efficiency recommendations in consultation with other audit engagement staff.
    • Identify, design, and develop data analytics extract routines to support internal audit activities.
    • Manage data extraction, storage, transformation, and processing through data analytics routines
    • Use data analysis tools to automate audit testing and develop techniques for continuous auditing and analyzing large volumes of data.
    • Lead or participate in special reviews as directed by management.
