    TPC River’s Bend is a private golf club owned and operated by the PGA TOUR, located in Maineville, Ohio, just minutes north of Cincinnati. The 32,000 square-foot clubhouse also features extensive banquet capabilities from large-scale corporate functions and golf events to intimate social gatherings.

     

    TPC River’s Bend is currently seeking an EXECUTIVE CHEF to provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire our culinary team in delivering exceptional quality, service and financial success.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Hiring, training, developing, scheduling and evaluating performance of staff
    • Effective communication with club management & support staff to attain highest member/guest satisfaction
    • Create various menu items and daily specials for a la carte menus and overall presentation of product for guest satisfaction
    • Maintaining the high quality of food preparation and presentation through active participation in all functions from planning to plating
    • Train and supervise culinary team members in preparing menu items according to recipe cards and plating specifications
    • Food cost control, inventory and budgeting
    • Ensure quality and cleanliness of kitchen and surrounding areas

     

     

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Thorough knowledge of food preparation, kitchen maintenance sanitation, nutrition and culinary operation procedures as would normally be acquired through a high school education or equivalent, plus two- or three-years additional college level course of study or culinary trades training or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, in progressively responsible positions, culinary degree preferred
    • Restaurant and banquet experience required preferably in a golf club or hotel
    • Proven self-starter, strong interpersonal, organizational skills, written and oral and communication skills
    • Knowledge of the Back of House operations, prior managerial experience required
    • Must be team oriented and demonstrate adaptability to changes in work demands

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills.
    • Must have some knowledge of plant operating systems.
    • Must have knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
    • Must have basic computer skills.
    • Physical job requirements include working outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting up to 100 lbs.
    • May be scheduled to work nights and weekends.
