Job Description

As a Private Equity Vice President, you will be involved in all elements of the business. Significant activities include evaluating investment opportunities, managing outside diligence specialists, and working with portfolio companies to drive value creation. In the investment evaluation phase, you will work as part of a small team to determine whether a company is an attractive acquisition candidate in Deep Tech, TMT, Media, Biotechnology and Blockchain. You should expect to spend a minimum of 20% of you time working directly with portfolio companies to implement value-creation initiatives. You will work closely with management teams to identify areas where a company’s growth and profits could be enhanced.

Qualified applicants must be able to execute fundamental strategic analysis, apply sound business judgment, interact as peers with senior executives, effectively oversee the workstreams of more junior team members, cultivate external sourcing opportunities, and manage complex, fast-moving processes. We are looking for self-starters who feel a strong sense of ownership over their work and have excellent team and interpersonal skills.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Exceptional business analytic and quantitative skills

4-5 years of experience working in private equity, consulting, M&A and/or investment management

Excellent professional and academic track record

Strong collaboration and communication skills; emergent team leadership skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to operate with limited supervision and a strong sense of ownership
