Responsibilities: • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Create estimates, budgets, written proposals, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Work closely with the project superintendent to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors Qualifications: • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary • Possess a Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, construction management, accounting, or related field • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred • Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital Compensation: $71,500 - $75,000 yearly
