Titan Talent Development is seeking Welders to join our team here in Norfolk. 

Job Experience Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Must understand SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW.
• Must be able to certify in all positions.
• SMAW Full Penetration weld with permanent backing (ceramic and metal)
• FCAW Full Penetration weld with permanent backing (ceramic and metal)
• GMAW Full Penetration weld with permanent backing (ceramic and metal)
• You will need to have all of your own tools and for any testing on stainless steel, you must be clean shaved and have a correct and properly fit respirator.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. 
• Detect and troubleshoot operation of equipment and defective materials and fix them if able. If not correctly notify management about issues. 
• Examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with NAVSEA specifications.
• Ability to work consistently with employees and assign daily assignments and coordinate directly with a general foreman or production manager to maintain delivery of scheduled project milestones.

Qualifications:

• Work experience in a related field - at least 2 years is preferred but not required. 
• Ability to weld 2G, 3G, and 4G for SMAW and FCAW 
• Ability to reliable to commute to and from Job site consistently.
• Preferred to be able to gain and maintain access to military and government facilities for work activity.
