TOP 5 SKILLS:

1. some light technical scripting
2. familiarity with Service Now
3. CMDB asset management,
4. preventive IT maintenance systems
5. knowledge of the DirecTV DBS Infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop the Technology Lifecycle roadmap for systems and applications in a scaled video production environment. Maintain an accurate inventory of systems and applications contained in the environment. Develop mitigating controls should an end-of-life system or application need to remain in use. Track changes made to the systems and applications, availability of updates, and the planned end of support by the vendor.

Qualifications

THE BACKGROUND OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD INCLUDE:

• BA/BS in Computer Science.
• 4+ years or relevant experience.
• Basic experience in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Familiarity with scaled, interdependent, business critical workflows requiring constant uptime.
• Able to develop material to effectively communicate complex concepts and product details to Executive Leadership.
• Experience as a communicator, collaborator, and influencer who can engage with multiple technical and business stakeholders/leaders.
