Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced licensed Florida title insurance agent to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to clients. Responsibilities: • Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once property search is complete • Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner • Analyze liens, plat books, contracts, agreements, surveys, maps, public records, and leases to verify ownership, legal description, and restrictions • Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies • Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal level have been recorded and present deed to new owners Qualifications: • College degree preferred- high school diploma required • Requirements for state licensing must be met -- title producers license is ideal • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills • Microsoft Office Suite proficient • 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor experience, title examiner or providing closing services is required Compensation: $22 - $35 hourly
