We’re currently looking for a Title Assistant/Title Clearance Support team member to join our Schererville, Indiana office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys staying organized, takes pride in accuracy, and genuinely enjoys helping keep transactions moving smoothly from start to finish. The right person becomes: • The momentum behind every file • The extra set of eyes that helps keep details accurate • A trusted support person for examiners, closers, and the entire office • A calm, professional communicator, clients remember positively • The person helping ensure files are complete, correct, and moving toward closing Responsibilities: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Open new title files and enter order information accurately • Work closely with title examiners to help clear title requirements • Order title clearance items and follow up until completed • Review files to make sure the required information is complete and accurate • Monitor incoming orders, emails, and file updates • Help move files forward from order opening through closing preparation • Communicate with agents, lenders, attorneys, clients, and internal team members • Track outstanding items and follow up consistently • Prepare and update CPLs and preliminary Closing Disclosures • Assist with seller-side title documents and outgoing file preparation • Support phones, front desk, and general office coordination as needed Qualifications: WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Extremely detail-oriented and accurate • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills • Organized and able to manage multiple files and priorities at once • Professional, friendly, and pleasant to work with • Clear and confident communication skills • Proactive mindset — someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in to help • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment • Prior title, mortgage, real estate, legal, banking, or lending experience preferred • SoftPro experience is a plus, but not required Compensation: $45,000 - $52,000 yearly
