Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced Title Agent to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to our clients. Responsibilities: Review all closing documents to be sure title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and prepare closing statements to transfer the title to the new owner Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal level have been recorded and present deed to new owners Work in tandem with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, law firms, settlement agents, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once property search is complete Qualifications: • 2-3 years of title closing experience is required • Personable and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills • Deadline and detail-oriented • Excellent organizational skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and multi-line phone systems • Proficient in SofPro is a plus • Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 yearly
