    We are looking for an experienced title processor to join our close-knit team of title professionals. The title processor/clearance specialist is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and clearing property titles for real estate transactions. This role ensures that all title issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, allowing for a smooth closing process. The specialist will work closely with underwriters, lenders, attorneys, and closing agents to deliver a clear and marketable title.. Responsibilities: Examine property title reports and public records to identify title defects such as: • Liens • Judgments • Encroachments • Ownership disputes • Communicate with internal teams, clients, underwriters, and third parties to resolve title issues • Order and review payoffs, subordinations, releases, and other clearance documents • Update title commitments and issue final title policies • Document all actions taken to resolve issues in the title processing system • Ensure that all title requirements are met prior to closing • Maintain compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards • Provide support to closing agents and ensure the timely delivery of title documents Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in: • Title processing, title clearance, or examination • Real estate transactions • Mortgage or escrow services • Legal documentation or curative work • Notary public certification • Superb research, communication, customer service, and analysis skills are desired • Computer proficiency with numerous programs, including MS Office, is needed • High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred Compensation: $15 - $22 hourly
