    Kimble Company is looking for a Title and Contract Specialist to work on-site out of our Dover, OH office (remote work is not available). This position will analyze and interpret record chains of title, complex leases, contracts and/or instruments to determine mineral ownership, rights, obligations, responsibilities, and costs of interest; as well as perform administrative duties as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • General Abstracting practices applicable to Title Research preferred.
    • Interpreting legal land documents (i.e. deed, lease, easement, etc.)
    • Must possess a persistent personality and an attitude that overcomes obstacles to achieve assigned objectives
    • Proven record of submitting completed assignments prior to deadlines and ability to work efficiently under strict time restraints
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Access, Word and Excel.
    • Fundamental computer applications necessary for performing the job function, (e.g.: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF converter, Deed Plotting programs, etc.)
    • Competently utilize a computer and use it effectively.

    Responsibilities And Duties:

    • Analyze and interpret record chains of title, complex leases, contracts and/or real estate instruments to determine mineral ownership, rights, obligations, responsibilities, and costs of interest.
    • Provide administrative support to multiple department heads to support general office operations
    • Organize and maintain digital and hard copy files daily.
    • Manage and track all incoming Division Orders from third party operators
    • Develop and maintain reports by extracting and organizing information to assist management in decision making.
    • Vertical well production gathering, summarization, and import into appropriate databases.
    • Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy.
    • All other duties as assigned by management.
