Compensation: • $75,000 - $100,000K • Bonus Potential • Full Benefits Package Responsibilities: • Conduct and keep a perfect and up-to-date general ledger, perform intricate accounting tasks • Recruit and develop team members • Build relationships with lenders and agents to develop new business • Perform monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis, ledger account reconciliation, and journal entry preparation • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, facilitating successful audits • Lead and contribute to special projects, including process improvement initiatives • Play a pivotal role in the monthly and quarterly close processes • Ensure accurate financial reporting through account analysis, and conduct high-level evaluations of account balances • Engage in open dialogue with different organizational levels and raise problems as necessary • Partner with training experts to develop procedural documentation and training materials • Follow the principles of reserve accounting, and prepare and reconcile entries Qualifications: • Strong familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the title industry • Exceptional organizational leadership, planning, and prioritization skills • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in applying accounting principles and practices • Proficiency in MS Office, including data extraction tools, and advanced Excel skills • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities, evaluating the costs and benefit analysis of potential actions • Experience or knowledge in sales tax accounting and regulations • Bachelor’s degree • 4+ years of experience in accounting or a related field • Experience in industries utilizing reserve accounting is a plus Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000+
