Executive/Marketing Assistant
To Self Activate uses the ancient techniques of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation with therapeutic practices and principles. It is an emerging brand that aims to teach people the skills they need to self-heal and to receive guidance on how to break old patterns that prevent them from moving toward their personal and/or professional goals. By activating the inherent internal energy resource system that is the conscious mind, a person can learn to live a happy and vital life without the need to be in hours of individual therapy.
THE POSITION
To Self Activate is looking for a part-time (~ 10 hours/week ) executive/marketing assistant, to work closely with Natalia Rosenbaum LMHC, founder of To Self Activate, to design, implement, measure, track, and analyze a multi-faceted marketing strategy to build the organization’s brand, audience, and revenues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy: Working closely with the Founder, design and implement a best-in class marketing program, including, but not limited to:
Monetizing and managing virtual courses
Promoting an upcoming book
Designing and implementing a future membership platform
Web: Optimize the design, useability, content, measurement, and evaluation of the company’s Ecommerce website. This will involve:
Creating copy
Minor video editing
Keeping the site dynamic and fresh
Social Media: Manage the company’s presence on social media platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook
E-mail: Design and implement email marketing initiatives, as appropriate
Analytics /SEO: Direct and manage measurement and evaluation tools for online media, including Google Analytics and social media listening / tracking tools.
E-Newsletter: Working with the founder, create and distribute a periodic E-newsletter
Audience development: Implement strategies designed to build the company’s audience, and to capture and maintain contact lists, wherever possible, for email, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook followers
Virtual receptionist: – Serve as first point of contact for all email and phone inquiries
Other duties as required to fulfill the goals of this position
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to think creatively using excellent judgment and a positive attitude in a new start-up environment. S/he will have the following:
Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field and/or several years of directly related experience
Strong understanding of social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), digital marketing, and web analytics
Excellent interpersonal, writing, and graphic skills with an attention to detail and to brand consistency
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to research and evaluate website-platforms to achieve To Self Activate’s goals
Ability to work efficiently and independently and to meet deadlines
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
Must be flexible and able to pivot
Optimistic and energetic
Enjoys the sometimes-chaotic nature of a start-up business
Passionate about building brands
A sense of humor
