Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney – New York, NY

We are working with a growing global law firm that has an opening in its New York office for an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 3-7 years of experience. This role will represent insurance companies in coverage disputes against policy holders and/or other insurers. Firm handles both contentious and non-contentious matters, and provide a range of specialist legal services, for many industry sectors but have expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, especially in defending insurance and liability claims. Billable requirement is 1920.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years law firm insurance converge experience. First party coverage experience is a plus. 

• Strong background in insurance litigation with experience drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery demands/responses.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York is required. Admission in New Jersey state bar is a plus.
• Experience taking and defended depositions, attending court conferences, and arguing motions.

Compensation will be dependent on experience; base salary is flexible.
