Senior Corporate Attorney – Multiple Offices (DC, NY, LA, SF, Baltimore or Tysons)

One of our top law firm’s Corporate Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to join the practice in the Washington, DC, New York, Baltimore, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Tysons office. Our client is an American Lawyer Global 100 law firm headquartered in Washington, DC, with offices in California, Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Virginia.

Firm's lawyers and legislative advisors serve domestic and international clients in all areas of corporate and business law, complex litigation, intellectual property, regulatory matters, and government affairs. The ideal candidate has a minimum of six years’ experience and is entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented, and adds value immediately to their sophisticated transactional and growth companies’ practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least six (6) or more years of experience. Law firm experience is a must, and a management consulting background is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience with M&A, private equity/venture finance, and general counsel work is required; experience with IPOs and/or debt deals is highly desirable. Experience working in-house and/or an MBA is an asset as well.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated record of academic success.
• Must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar.

Compensation will be dependent on experience; base salary is flexible.
