Toddler Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education The Learning Experience - South Lyon Area, MI Pay: $18-$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to create an engaging classroom where young children can explore, communicate, and develop confidence through hands-on learning and play.

We are connecting with qualified early childhood educators interested in opportunities at our South Lyon-area childcare centers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily Toddler classroom activities and routines

Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum

Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, and language

Encourage communication, independence, and positive social interactions

Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions

Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management

Observe and document children's developmental progress

Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers

Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families

Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom

Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood classroom experience required

Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred

CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred

Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver

Patient, energetic, dependable, and confident leading a classroom
