About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers.

Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and development.

Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and daily activities.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum and classroom experience.

Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding child safety and education.

Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and volunteers in the classroom.

Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution skills among toddlers.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a lead teacher with toddlers in a childcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.

Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning.

Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.

Background check clearance and references required.
