Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education The Learning Experience - Ramsey, NJ Pay: $18 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Toddlers are curious, energetic, and discovering something new every day!
The Learning Experience - Ramsey is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher for our Twaddler classroom, serving children approximately 2-2.5 years old.
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping young children develop independence, build friendships, strengthen communication skills, and discover the joy of learning through play.

Key Responsibilities
Support daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5
Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Create engaging sensory, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning experiences
Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interactions
Support toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions
Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
Observe and document children's developmental progress
Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Previous professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred
Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required
Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach
Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working with young children
Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
