Small, family-oriented Christian child care center seeks a passionate and motivated Toddler Teacher for our year-round Program! With a fabulous staff of twelve and a student body of only 50 in just three classrooms, we are not a chain where everyone is just a number. We are truly a team with a cooperative feel!

We desire a team-member with a degree in Early Childhood (AA or BA) or several years of experience and some college-level coursework. Most importantly, we want a teacher with a love and dedication to the Early Childhood field, who will bring professionalism and JOY to every day.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for toddlers.

Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and progress.

Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play.

Communicate effectively with parents about children's growth and needs.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting.

Strong understanding of child development principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

First Aid and CPR certification required.

Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Background check clearance required.
