    Position: Toddler Teacher – Early Childhood Education Age group: 18-24 Months Salary: $11.00 - $16.00 / hour

    Location: 25860 Friendship Road, Daphne, AL 36526 Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday - Friday

    About the Role

    The Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the development of children from birth to age three. You’ll provide individualized care, implement age-appropriate activities, and foster a safe, loving environment that encourages exploration and early learning.

    Key Responsibilities

    Create an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

    Develop and implement daily lesson plans that support social, emotional, and cognitive growth

    Maintain classroom safety, sanitation, and organization in accordance with Alabama DHR licensing standards

    Observe, document, and communicate each child’s developmental progress

    Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and conferences

    Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a cohesive and positive school culture

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred

    Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting strongly preferred

    Strong understanding of infant and toddler development

    Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization skills

    Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

    Dependable, patient, and passionate about nurturing young children
