About the Role:

Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA! In this role, you'll have the incredible opportunity to guide and inspire our youngest learners through the foundational principles of Montessori education. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori-based curriculum for toddlers

Create and maintain a prepared, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Observe and document each child's developmental progress and milestones

Foster independence, social-emotional growth, and practical life skills in young learners

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning community

Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing classroom consistent with Montessori principles

Requirements:

Experience working with toddlers or young children in an early childhood education setting

Knowledge of or training in Montessori philosophy and methodology preferred

Minimum 12 ECE units required in accordance with California childcare licensing regulations

Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
