About the Role:

Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA! In this role, you'll have the incredible opportunity to shape young minds during their most formative years using the proven Montessori method. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori-based curriculum for toddlers

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and prepared classroom environment

Observe and document each child's developmental progress and milestones

Foster independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in young learners

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support classroom and school goals

Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements:

Experience working with toddlers or young children in an early childhood education setting

Knowledge of or training in Montessori philosophy and methodology preferred

Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required; AA or degree preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff

Patient, warm, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for child development

Ability to meet California Title 22 licensing requirements
