Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience - Owings Mills, MD Pay: $17-$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a nurturing and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
Our toddlers are building language, independence, confidence, and social skills every day. We're looking for a teacher who can create a warm, structured classroom where children feel secure while having plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and learn.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom
Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Create engaging activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and exploration
Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Encourage independence and developing self-help skills
Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
Follow Maryland Office of Child Care licensing requirements
Qualifications
Must be Maryland Infant/Toddler Teacher qualified
Must have required Maryland-approved Infant/Toddler coursework and training
Previous professional toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented
Must meet all applicable Maryland Office of Child Care requirements
