Together We Rise is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our vision is to improve the lives of children in foster care in America, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. TWR is seeking an individual who has the interest to grow within our organization, supports our mission, is detail-oriented, and has the ability to work effectively in teams and individually.

TIME COMMITMENT

Office Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7 am - 3:30 PM PST

Occasional Weekends for local events.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the day-to-day needs of the organization & Administrative Team.

• Work closely and effectively with the Administrative team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and following up appropriately

• Basic reception, receive mail and packages, greet visitors, maintain the office calendar.

• Research, prioritize, and follow up on upcoming deadlines, projects, and purchase orders.

- FLEXIBILITY IN JOB ASSIGNMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Must have a minimum of 5 years of Administrative experience

• An interest in helping children in foster care.

• Proficiency in Google Suite, Internet.

• Excellent verbal and written skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills.

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Together We Rise is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of motivated young adults and former foster youth. Our vision is to improve the lives of children in foster care, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. We collaborate with individuals, companies, and community partners to bring resources to foster youth and use service-learning activities to educate volunteers on issues surrounding the foster care system. TWR works with hundreds of foster agencies, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to bring our programs to foster youth across the nation. Our foundation has allowed us to provide thousands of foster youth across the country with new bicycles, college supplies, and sweet cases so that children do not have to travel from home to home with their belongings in a trash bag.
