    Job Description

    ABOUT TOLL: GLOBAL FORWARDING

    A unique role working across all facets of the business, the Operations Support’s responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate processing of Air and Ocean freight import/export shipments, to meet both business and client specific KPI’s. To act as the daily interface between TGF and the customer in delivering a seamless and professional service that meets and exceeds the customers’ expectations.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • WIPS and ACRL adjustments
    • Work closely with other departments and overseas offices
    • Client Invoicing – Ocean Imports, Ocean Exports, Air Imports, Air Exports, Cross Trade
    • Vetting and posting of carrier invoices
    • Collect on COD clients
    • Vet and post intercompany invoices
    • Vet and process CASS Report for Air Export airline costs
    • Monitor Ops finance reports so files are CLS promptly
    • Potential cross-trade with other departments for experience growth
    • Other administrative duties as assigned

    IN RESPECT TO FINANCIALS:

    • Maintain cost effective job processing
    • Process Accounts Receivable as necessary
    • Maintain job profitability 
    • Ensure all processing is aligned within our internal KPI’s

    SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

    TECHNICAL

    • Knowledge of Global forwarding operations
    • Computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Experience dealing with customers, with a strong customer focus and  service ethic
    • Methodical, planned and organized with strong attention to detail
    • Good time management 
    • CargoWise one/ EDI software program experience preferred

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    Education:       High school diploma or equivalency 

    Industry:           Preferred 2+ years in global forwarding with operations and/or customer service experience
