Wipro Givon USA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced tooling Tooling Specialist to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. The role, in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering, determines the design of the tool type required for the applicable production manufacturing operation.

Abilities - Are you a good fit:
Bachelor’s, Associate’s Degree or technical school in related field and / or equivalent experience as a tool designer and / or tool fabricator.
Minimum of four years related experience.
CAD experience.
CATIA a plus.
NC Machining experience a plus.
Thorough understanding of 3-D geometric relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders, specifications, drawings, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
The ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10- 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-50 pounds.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:
Designs tools within schedule and budgetary parameters.
Assigns work statements to team.
Develops processes, methods, and maintenance for tools.
Monitors and debugs new methods and procedures to ensure system efficiencies.
Provides tooling support to manufacturing by troubleshooting problems and achieving timely solutions.
Prepare design concept and tool fabrication drawings.
Provide hour estimates of tooling for new production part details / assemblies.
Interfaces with NC Programming, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing departments to address and resolve tooling issues.
Performs miscellaneous duties as needed, which may require working on tools occasionally.
Monitors group status and updates leadership.
Interfaces with multiple organizations to understand and implement tooling requirements.
Work with internal organizations, customers and suppliers to define and / or update customer tooling transportation and locations per internal documentation requirements.
Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
