    The Quality Control Inspector consistently delivers an immersive, educational, and exciting experience to collaborate with our customers on recreational vehicles, commercial appliances and so much more. This role is the front-line defense for our customers - building integrity into our brand by supporting our mission to ***innovate ***deliver excellence and provide top quality, highly cosmetic metal products.

    ** What You’ll Do – Essential Functions

    **

    • Document and communicate any identified defects
    • Evaluate parts based on control plans
    • Assist production teams to properly disposition parts as good for use, repair or scrap
    • Escalate concerns to appropriate parties. Comprehend quality standards and determine if ongoing production meets those standards
    • Promote a culture of quality with all duties performed
    • Perform destructive tests to validate welds
    • Ultrasonic tests on incoming raw materials to validate received materials
    • What You’ll Bring
    • Ability to help establish first line of defense for immediate containment activities
    • Ability to build solid relationships with production team members in multiple departments
    • Ability to be personable and effective in verbal and written communication
    • Ability to visually detect defects in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to identify and differentiate between defect types, standards and specifications
    • Ability to perform detailed record keeping, audits and inspection reports
    • Ability to apply critical thinking skillset to engage and troubleshoot new and existing quality issues
    • Ability to determine severity of a defect and the require response
    • Experience in a manufacturing quality assurance environment
    • Provide exemplary attendance and punctuality

    ** Knowledge, Skill, Educational Requirements

    **

    • Experience with quality systems in high-volume manufacturing environment
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed (part sorting, material moving, etc.)
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, the common issues and defects to leadership and management assisting with solutions
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
    • Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware and standard software
