    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled web developer who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for our government customer. In this role you will provide support for continued maintenance, content management, and other related activities for the agency's web sites.

    Responsibilities

    • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
    • Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
    • Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
    • Directing or performing Website updates.
    • Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
    • Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
    • Regularly reviewing the Internet and Intranet sites for broken links and making sure less than 99 percent accuracy are widowed and orphan pages and work with the content owners to update the site.
    • Provide technical analysis to present impacts and recommendations to the government Web Manager on government proposals or initiatives for redesign, content migration, or other major web site activities.
    • Generate ad hoc reports and other web materials at the request of the COR. The reports and other web materials shall be Section 508 Compliant Attend meetings with executives, managers, and agency stakeholders to determine management requirements, plans for leveraging the web, and issues regarding online media
    • Attend meetings with the Project sponsor and Web Manager to discuss redesigns and realignments of content, followed by commensurate support activities.
    • Trouble-shoot web-use problems, resolving them or elevating them to the appropriate managers for resolution
    • Post final pages to production internet web servers
    • Provide technical assistance to the Web Manager and provide technical assistance and support.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Experience managing web development, web content management, or information systems projects and operations.
    • Strong Technical knowledge of SharePoint, InfoPath, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
    • Have strong writing and communication skills, including experience curating and writing web content for internal and external platforms
    • Have an ability to work in a dynamic environment as an agile member of a team
    • Possess a strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through
    • Have ability to work on deadline, set priorities, and work independently
    • Have strong verbal communication skills with an ability to present ideas coherently and persuasively
    • Have previously created and/or managed web content for multiple audiences
    • Have 5+ years of relevant experience
