Top Class Actions is looking for a seasoned EMAIL PRODUCER who has a strong understanding of Creative Production and the work ethic to roll up their sleeves and execute the work. The EMAIL PRODUCER is responsible for the successful production, management, and deployment of multiple outbound email campaigns and newsletters a week (4-6), as well as for providing guidance and email best practices to company stakeholders. The role is technically driven and includes production, testing, scheduling, segmentation, journey automation, list management, quality control, optimization, and performance monitoring, and reporting.

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE AND CONTRACT POSITION. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES:

• Create, test and develop email templates

• Curate Top Class Actions content to produce a minimum of 4 weekly newsletter sends

• Proofread and test emails before sending

• Create and manage process for scrubbing lists

• Manage end-to-end email campaigns: design email templates, craft irresistible subject lines, work with Marketing Copywriter to write convincing body copy and call-to-actions (CTAs) to drive conversions, and experiment and run A/B or multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance

• Create audience segments based on demographic, behavioral, psychographic, and other criteria and run highly personalized email campaigns

• Work with Retention Marketing to devise ways to grow subscriber lists

• Run lead nurturing activities, i.e., guide the audience through the funnel 

• Ensure email campaigns adhere to industry standards and do not violate regulatory compliances

• Track key campaign metrics and report their impact on sales conversions

• Define and communicate requirements to develop email platform

• Manage email lists, including running re-engagement campaigns and identifying subscribers that need to be removed.

MUST HAVE:

• 3 years experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns.

• Bachelor of the Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), or equivalent degree

• Hands-on experience with Active Campaign or other email marketing tool

• Strong understanding of Creative Production

• Ability to understand creative intent and proactively organize partners to bring creative to life

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with several creative team members

• Knowledge of lead generation, lead nurturing, drip campaigns, design tools, content management systems (CMS), and Google analytics

• Debugging skills to identify deliverability issues and correct them

• Impeccable copywriting and communication skills

• HTML/CSS knowledge preferred

• Strong analytical skills to infer meaning from campaign metrics
