    We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team! You'll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities: • Handle all accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis to make sure each invoice and expense report is accurate • Ready our books for monthly and quarterly reports • Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for • Obtain signatures for checks and print and distribute checks as needed to properly facilitate all incoming and outgoing payments • Communicate with all vendors, partners, and staff regarding payments and financial records to ensure bills are paid promptly • Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly • Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed • Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses Qualifications: • The position requires 3 or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. • Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, Internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc., and other software applications preferred (i.e. Quickbooks, Appfolio ). • Effective communication and interaction with the management team, military partners, co-workers, vendors, or residents; sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved • Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including 2 Saturdays a month. • Ability to travel to other local office locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities • Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000
