OUR CLIENT, JAPANESE FOOD TRADING COMPANY, IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST IN THEIR SAN FRANCISCO LOCATION! THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN INVENTORY CONTROL AND DISTRIBUTION. ANY EXPERIENCE WITH 3PL OR WAREHOUSE IS A PLUS. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILL AND MATHEMATICAL SKILL WILL BE NEEDED.

POSITION: Supply Chain Specialist LOCATION: San Francisco, CA SALARY: $60-70K (DOE) HIRING STYLE: Full / Direct hire with great benefits LANGUAGE: English a Must / Japanese is a BIG plus but not required No Visa Support Considered

JOB DUTIES:

• Supervise inventory control specialist for the inventory reconciliation process 

• Generate monthly report to find out any errors in number of inventory and report to management

• Communicate with local warehouses to avoid any discrepancies

• Work with warehouse, sales offices and logistics to coordinate physical inventory

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CANDIDATES MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK LAWFULLY IN THE UNITED STATES
• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution and warehouse are preferred
• Experience in working with third party logistics is a plus
• Deep knowledge in inventory control / inventory management is required 
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Detail-oriented, team player
• Strong communication, mathematical and analytical skills are preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Excel
