Job responsibilities:

• Hydrology and Hydraulic analysis and modeling for bridges, large culverts, stream restoration, water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
• Working with communities on environmental regulatory program implementation and stormwater permitting
• Bridge scour analysis and bank stabilization design
• Supporting the team in other civil engineering design projects
• Other job duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a professional office setting
• Knowledge of and interest in:
  • Hydrology and Hydraulics
  • Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment systems analysis
  • Asset management and pipeline design hydraulics,
  • Inspection, condition assessment, and proper repair/rehabilitation design Riverine and built water conveyance system modeling
  • Stream restoration
  • Dams and levees
  • Floodplain analysis
• Ability to comprehend and interpret codes
• Ability to effectively read and understand construction drawings
• Ability to effectively assist in developing estimates and budgets
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• Ability to multi-task
• Desire to work both in the field and office
• Willingness to travel
• Valid driver’s license required
