Job Description
SUMMARY
The Sr. Payroll & HR Specialist should be an individual that is capable of managing our current backend team, and holding them accountable. They should be able to provide the structure we need from a Pay-rolling perspective, as well as be able to perform HR functions. The right person will be able to improve our current system.
Payroll Experience Requirements:
- PAYCHEX system or similar
- Working in the STAFFING INDUSTRY on the agency side
- Desire to work in a FAST-PACED environment with many moving parts
- ORGANIZATION of Time Sheets and New Hire Paperwork
- Ability to WORK TOGETHEr with our team in order to collect and optimize Payroll information each week
- Ability to create COMMISSION reports and adjust as needed
- Ability to MANAGE others as needed and hold them Accountable to ensure cohesive efforts to deliver on payroll
HR Experience Requirements:
- Understanding and Knowledge of a CENTRALIZED SYSTEM for proper record keeping and normal HR functions
- Manage PTO, VACATION, AND SICK DAY policy
- Work with our leadership and be the POC, and solution provider for INTERNAL CONFLICT RESOLUTION
- Administrator for BENEFITS such as Healthcare, 401k, etc.
- Assist with TRANSITIONAL PROCEDURES including on-boarding, training protocol, discipline, and termination
- Assist with HR COMPLIANCE items such as employee handbooks, State or Federal requirements, etc.
Desired:
- Experience with BULLHORN
- Experience with Mac / APPLE products
