    Position: Freight Brokerage Sales Representative

    Location: Houston, TX

    Position type: On-site in Houston; however, will look at remote candidates if they have 6-7 years of experience.

    Salary: $50K - $75K based off experience

    Commission or Bonus Structure: Tiered with Bounty. See attached.

    Job description:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on a daily basis.
    • Manage freight acceptance, fulfill commitments, and identify SPOT opportunities.
    • Collaborate with your team to effectively handle load volumes and ensure successful execution.
    • Develop comprehensive knowledge of customer accounts, including shipping points and receiving points, to identify potential opportunities.
    • Conduct outbound cold calls to generate new leads.
    • Close new accounts and upsell existing accounts.

    Qualifications:

    • Possesses a minimum of 2 years of experience in FTL (Full Truckload) freight brokerage.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of pricing and negotiation strategies.
    • Has experience with FTL operations, including Dry Van, Reefer, and Flatbed.
    • Exhibits leadership qualities to mentor and train new hires.
    • Displays strong problem-solving abilities, quick thinking, and sound business judgment.
    • Shows high motivation and determination in pursuing and closing business opportunities
