About the Opportunity:

This Top 100 3PL company is proactive in all that it does. Because of that mentality, they desire to continue their nationwide expansion. They are looking for a Branch Manager to establish and grow an office in Charlotte.

As a Branch Manager, you will develop and manage the branch strategy and operations, achieve financial goals, and meet customer and carrier expectations. You will solicit new revenue as an individual contributor and even form your own inside sales team if desired. You will review P&L, and be the main point of success or failure for this branch. It's up to you!

Candidates must have four years of logistics management experience and able to live or relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Duties:

• Build a team and manage the overall operations of Charlotte branch
• Coach, enforce, and empower the branch personnel to achieve financial growth and goals
• Prepare business plans with management as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with regulations, industry trends, and best practices
• Evaluate business operations, technology, and processes
• Collaborate with the sales teams to ensure the profitable growth of the business
• Solicit new sources of revenue growth as an individual contributor
• Develop and grow an inside sales team if desired
• Set the strategic direction for business sales and operations
• Review financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
• Assist department leads with developing improvement strategies for employees
• Attend all management meetings and hold team meetings

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in a logistics management role
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• A demonstrable capacity to think outside the box
• Effectively communicate and motivate employees
• Bachelors degree is preferred
