PRODUCT INNOVATION MANAGER

Responsible for evaluating product solutions and potential product opportunities and for developing a funnel for future product offerings

AREAS OF FOCUS:

• Building Science
• Product evaluation and testing
• Product business cases and recommendations

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Identify and evaluate potential product or service opportunities for TopBuild’s field divisions

Create a funnel of products for technical, financial and operational evaluation

• Develop a process for evaluating and publishing a simple summary of the evaluation and an outcome recommendation for the business
• Ensure tight project management, tracking and visibility of funne
• Ensure field impact consideration and partnership with National Product team

Create standard product and service menu for key field divisions

Lead physical, technical or field-level testing and evaluation of operational model impact

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years in construction, building science, building performance testing, product development or management,
• Ability to review, test and evaluate products from a technical and business lens
• Strong speaking and written communication skills
• Organized
• Strong field and product relationships

LOGISTICAL DETAILS:

• Daytona Beach
• 40 hours per week
• Moderate travel required
