    Job Description:

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join their pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Associate/Prepacker. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Pharmacy Associate/Prepacker will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of medications for our patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Read and analyze, forecast reports to determine the Prepack requirements for medications.
    • Assist in coordinating the prepack process, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging.
    • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager and other staff members to ensure timely completion of prepack tasks.
    • Assist in monitoring inventory levels of prepackaged medications and coordinate with the inventory management team.
    • Participate in training sessions to learn and apply prepack procedures and best practices.
    • Maintain accurate records of prepack activities, including batch numbers, expiry dates, and lot numbers.
    • Conduct quality control checks on prepackaged medications to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
    • Identify and report any issues or discrepancies related to prepackaging to the appropriate personnel.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to prepackaging in the pharmacy setting.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification is preferred, but not required.
    • Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably with exposure to prepackaging.
    • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including knowledge of medications, dosage forms, and packaging requirements.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work performed.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with team members.
    • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and willingness to learn new software quickly.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to prepackaging in a pharmacy setting.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

    Shift: M - F from 2 pm - 10 pm, rotating weekends
