The company provides printer and related software needs to institutions and corporations across a variety of industries and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and oversee all aspects of our accounts payable function.

    Job Description:

    As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of the high volume of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and other financial transactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing financial reports, monthly and annual reports, and bank statements in coordination with the CFO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances or discrepancies.
    • Managing and reconciling bank and credit statements.
    • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure proper GL codes.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process.
    • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
    • Prepare reports and analysis as needed for CFO review.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or certification in Accounting or Finance.
    • 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Experience with accounts payable software and ERP systems is a plus (ex. ECI/ e-automate)
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
