    Job Title: Real Estate Rental Leasing Associate

    Location: Brooklyn, NY

    Position Overview: We are looking for a sophisticated, experienced real estate rental leasing professional reporting to the Senior VP and Director of Leasing. This role involves marketing rental properties, conducting property showings, screening potential tenants, and handling lease agreements. The representative ensures customer satisfaction and aims to achieve occupancy and rental income targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to inquiries from potential tenants via phone, email, or in-person.
    • Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective renters.
    • Provide detailed information about rental properties, including features, amenities, and lease terms.
    • Market and promote available rental properties through various channels (online listings, social media, flyers, etc.).
    • Assist prospective tenants in completing rental applications.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
    • Collaborate with property management teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for occupancy.
    • Address and resolve tenant concerns promptly.
    • Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and applications.
    • Prepare regular reports on leasing activity.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants.
    • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations to promote properties.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and increased rental income.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
    • Real estate license required in many jurisdictions.
    • Previous experience in real estate sales, property management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven track record of achieving leasing or sales targets.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
    • Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in using property management software and MS Office.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
    • This position involves working in various environments, including office settings, rental properties, and outdoor areas.
    • The role may require standing, walking, and driving for extended periods.

    Schedule and Compensation:

    • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Saturdays if needed.
    • Hybrid Schedule: Come into Brooklyn office once a week.
    • Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
    • Commission Potential: $50,000
