    About Us:

    Torch & Crown Brewing Company is NYC's largest independent production brewery as well as the only production brewery and restaurant in Manhattan. From our production facility/warehouse in the Bronx, we operate Torch Distribution which manages the sale and distribution of Torch & Crown Brewing Company's beers as well as a portfolio of other great brands. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Brewery Warehouse Associate to our Distribution & Logistics team in the Bronx. The Distribution & Logistics team is connected to all aspects of the business (Production, Retail Distribution, Hospitality, etc) and the Brewery Warehouse Associate is a critical piece of the team to ensure smooth cross functional operations.

    The responsibilities for the Brewery Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Retail Distribution
      • Organization/Palletizing of beer in preparation of shipments/deliveries
      • Loading of delivery vehicles for retail distribution deliveries
      • Unloading of empty kegs/returned items from delivery vehicles
    • Shipping and Receiving
      • Loading/unloading of shipments (Includes both beer and raw materials for production)
      • Sorting, organization and preparation of paperwork and filing of receipts for incoming and outgoing shipments
      • Preparing pallets/goods for freight shipments
    • Inventory Management
      • Arrange warehouse and cold box in an organized fashion and keep all warehouse areas clean at all times
      • Assist with physical inventory of packaging supplies and finished products
      • Conducting inventory reconciliation checks to ensure accurate inventory counts
      • Handle miscellaneous brewery related tasks that may require assistance

    Requirements:

    • This position is based out of our Bronx (463 E173rd St, Bronx, NY 10457) facility and daily commute to this location is expected.
    • This person must be experienced with operating a forklift.
    • This is a labor-intensive, physically demanding position involving the safe movement of heavy items (e.g. kegs & cases of beer)

    We offer:

    This is a full time position with opportunity for overtime. Overtime (hours worked over 40 in a calendar week) are paid at a 1.5x rate. The anticipated hours for this position are as follows:

    Monday: 8am-6pm

    Tuesday: 11am-7pm

    Wednesday: 11am-7pm

    Thursday: 11am-7pm

    Friday: 10am-4pm

    Hourly rate - $18-20 Overtime rate - $27-30
