                                                                                       THIS POSITION IS BASED IN PHILADELPHIA, PA

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Advertising Sales Representative would join our Marketing & Branding team in driving revenue generation for our proprietary web sites with a particular emphasis on Petplace.com

    • Developing and nurturing relationships with brands and advertising partners, particularly in the Pet marketplace
    • Create sales presentations and materials for upcoming advertorial opportunities
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of company's products, promotions and market trends
    • Understand the competitive market and proactively monitor market pricing and advertorial initiatives
    • Participate and contribute in advertorial planning and sales meetings

    • Top performer with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding revenue and productivity goals
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
    • Highly competitive, resourceful, and able to overcome challenges/objections
    • Ability to speak persuasively in a one-on-one or group setting
    • Familiar with advertising/marketing principles, the media landscape, and emerging technologies
    • Appreciation for process, performance measurement, and a results-oriented sales approach
    • Ability to prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, canvassing, and/or referrals
    • Experience with social media and digital platform systems
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales
    • Intermediate to advanced experience using online office suites, cloud services, apps, etc.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Track record of on-time delivery of projects/goals
