    What you’ll be doing:

    Serve as knowledge expert for software engineering processes.

    Provide direction and leadership to insure a timely response to enterprise level software and/or platform production problems.

    Manage application providers to ensure optimal performance, support, and adherence to operational service-levels agreements.

    Identify and recommend enterprise level process or system enhancements to technology platforms

    Champion and implement software delivery practices necessary to achieve agility, speed-to-market, and reliable delivery of business solutions

    Provide leadership to develop a foundation architecture that is scalable and flexible with an emphasis on data ownership supported by a robust integration layer

    Analyze the costs, value and risks of application and data platforms to advise management and suggest ongoing improvements

    Lead diverse teams across multiple application systems and develop leaders within your direct supervision

    Provide leadership to manage solution design, configuration/coding, testing, documentation, and implementation for multiple technology areas across the enterprise.

    Direct and ensure that time estimates are developed for project schedules, progress is monitored, and accurate and timely reporting is provided for assigned area.

    Provide direction across complex and multiple projects to ensure that deliverables are on schedule.

    Manage project costs to budget. Provide input for departmental budget. Recommend cost saving improvements.

    QUE-SO…here’s what you’ll need:

    B.S. /B.A. or M.B.A. /M.S in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.

    10+ years in application development environment

    8+ years of management experience

    ITIL Certification

    Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.

    Expert in all phases of business analysis, software engineering, risk management, quality assurance/testing and other application development-related areas.

    Familiarity with executing in an agile environment

    A pragmatic, continuous improvement mindset for building capabilities for use in the business

    Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks

    Experience with restaurant and/or retail industry systems.

    Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
