Torchy’s Tacos is bringing on a highly motivated, analytical leader who has the skills to develop and present data to achieve company-wide financial goals. This person will help us continue to develop and support a reliable data infrastructure to provide our financial reporting. This position reports directly to an Associate Manager of FP&A.

What you’ll be doing:

Execute processes related to compilation and distribution of weekly reporting packages to Operations team

Develop new reports to support the business as needed

Refresh and validate period-end reporting packages for distribution to the Leadership and Operations teams along with analyzing results for insights

Update, maintain and validate internal reference documents with latest entities and accounts, dimension filters in Business Intelligence tools, and unit same-store-sale statuses by month

Perform daily reconciliation of system sales data as needed, collaborating with IT to ensure data validity

Assist in store inventory processes

QUE-SO…here’s what you’ll need:

2-4 years’ experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Data Science role

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Basic knowledge of financial systems and business reporting tools like Essbase, etc.

Tenacious spirit and strong desire to work in a high-growth, ever-changing, dynamic environment

Ability to work independently with a passion to drive results through data-driven decisions

Ability to meet the physical requirements of daily tasks (Must be able to type for long periods of time, lift 15lbs, ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, etc.)
