What you’ll be doing:

Lead the treasury department and provides day-to-day management of the treasury team

Support process improvements and automated accounts receivables and cash initiatives

Implement and manage treasury policies and procedures throughout the Company

Train, evaluate, and motivate employees to enhance their performance

Ensure all deadlines are met

Active ownership of treasury functions in the period-end close process

Manage all aspects of the treasury function and work toward efficiencies

Collaborate with business partners to ensure timely and acc accounts receivables processing

Manage accounts receivable reporting and document retention

Assist with managing monthly closing of financial records and month end information

Review Treasury Specialists work on a period basis

Be a leader in the Company’s cash / treasury efficiency related new systems implementations

Hold routine team and one-on-one meetings with treasury team

Assist with audit and other routine treasury review requests

Reconcile and file sales taxes with proper jurisdictions on a per period basis

Review per period use tax filings

Coordinate specific activities with the accounting generalists and review their work

Provide monthly fixed asset reconciliations and review depreciation entries

Reconcile key bank accounts

Set up banking system and merchant services for each new location

Assist in the formulation, enhancement or remediation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices

Review and post general journal entries

QUE-SO…here’s what you’ll need:

BA/BS in related field preferred

At least 3+ years of accounting experience (preferably for a high-volume company) or public accounting

2+ years in a manager or supervisory role

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles / accrual basis of accounting

Professional experience in accounts receivable and basic accounting / bookkeeping

Multi-unit experience in the retail or restaurant industry preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, NetSuite and general accounting systems

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail Oriented

Commitment to accuracy of data
