    Job Description

    Under the direction of the TGA Manager, the gaming compliance officer will enforce and insure all policies, procedures and regulations of the casino are strictly adhered in accordance with State, Federal and/or tribal requirements gaming regulations as agreed upon in the Tribe’s compact. Previous casino/gaming experience is a must. Must be able to pass an extensive TGA background investigation. Successful candidate must have knowledge of  casino games; Title 31 regulations; properly filling out Machine Verification (i.e., Bill Test, Relocation, Promo Credits, Verifying the machine PAR% Denomination, Manufacture). Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality; work independently with little direction; interpret, apply and explain laws, codes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures; operate a variety of office equipment, computer and assigned software; complete work with many interruptions; compile and verify data and prepare daily reports; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; work with people from diverse cultures, ethnic and social-economic backgrounds and must always maintain cultural sensitivity.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma, at least twenty-one years (21) of age, and significant, practical knowledge to demonstrate the above essential duties.

     

    LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    This position is required to drive and therefore requires possession of a valid California Class C Driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the Tribe's auto insurance policy throughout employment.
